Individual Counseling
Healing Begins with Understanding Yourself
Our relationships with others are deeply shaped by the relationship we have with ourselves. When we've experienced trauma, loss, painful relationships, or overwhelming life events, it can become difficult to feel safe, trust others, or believe that our needs matter. You may find yourself caught in patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, emotional numbness, people-pleasing, withdrawal, or feeling disconnected from the life and relationships you want.
These patterns are not signs that something is wrong with you. They are often adaptive ways your mind and body learned to protect you during difficult experiences. While these protective strategies may have helped you survive, they can also make it difficult to feel fully alive, connected, and secure in the present.
Individual therapy offers a compassionate space to slow down, make sense of these patterns, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Understanding the Deeper Story
we'll explore the emotions, attachment experiences, and life events that have shaped how you respond to stress, relationships, and vulnerability. Rather than trying to push difficult emotions away, we'll learn to approach them with curiosity and compassion, helping you better understand what they are trying to communicate about your needs, fears, and longings.
As we deepen this understanding, you'll begin to experience yourself with greater acceptance and develop new emotional experiences that foster healing, resilience, and lasting change.

A Safe Place to Explore What Matters Most
My role is not to tell you who you should be or simply teach coping skills. Together, we'll create a relationship where you can safely explore difficult emotions, understand the protective strategies that have shaped your life, and develop a deeper sense of security within yourself.
I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy with mindfulness, somatic awareness, neuroscience, and trauma-informed care to help you reconnect with your emotions, your values, your body, and your relationships. Healing isn't about becoming someone different—it's about discovering that the parts of you that learned to survive can also learn to feel safe, connected, and fully alive.
Begin Your Journey
Healing doesn't happen by facing life's challenges alone. Whether you're struggling with trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship difficulties, identity questions, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy offers a space where your experiences can be met with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more emotionally grounded, more connected to yourself and others, and better able to create the life and relationships you want.
