Feeling Stuck, Disconnected, or Alone in Your Relationships?

Relationships are where we experience some of life's greatest joys—and some of its deepest wounds. When we feel disconnected from the people we care about, it can leave us feeling lonely, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or unsure how to find our way back to one another.

I work with individuals, couples, and families to help people understand the deeper emotions and attachment needs that shape the way they relate to themselves and others. Often, conflict, withdrawal, anxiety, anger, or feeling "stuck" are not the problem themselves—they are protective responses to pain, fear, loss, or unmet needs for safety, connection, and acceptance.

Together, we'll slow down the patterns that keep you feeling trapped and explore what is happening beneath the surface. In a supportive, nonjudgmental space, we'll work to better understand your emotions, strengthen your relationships, and create new experiences of connection, trust, and security.

At Kitsap Family Counseling, you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

Healing begins when we feel seen, heard, and emotionally safe. My role is to help you make sense of your experiences with curiosity and compassion rather than shame or self-criticism. Whether you're working through the effects of trauma, relationship struggles, or major life transitions, we'll work together to build greater emotional resilience, deepen self-understanding, and strengthen your capacity for connection.

Together we may explore:

  • Strengthening emotional connection with yourself and the people you love

  • Understanding patterns of conflict, distance, and disconnection in relationships

  • Improving communication through emotional awareness and vulnerability

  • Healing the impact of trauma, PTSD, grief, and painful life experiences

  • Navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, insomnia, and emotional overwhelm

  • Rebuilding trust after betrayal or infidelity

  • Parenting and family relationships through the lens of attachment and emotional safety

  • Supporting adolescents, young adults, adults, and families through life transitions

  • Finding balance between work, family, caregiving, and personal well-being

  • Exploring identity, including sexual orientation, gender identity, and the impact of marginalized identities

  • Reconnecting with meaning, motivation, intimacy, and joy

  • Navigating grief, loss, and significant life changes

  • Building self-compassion and cultivating a more secure relationship with yourself

My hope is not simply to help you reduce symptoms, but to help you experience relationships differently—to feel more connected, more emotionally secure, and more able to meet life's challenges with confidence, openness, and resilience.
